Hello everybody!! I am writing this post for my dearest friend Nella and all colleagues who’ll be attending PortoNovo Conference, as I cannot be present there. Our group from Pordenone shares the same vision thanks to Pilgrims and PortoNovo. Thank you Valeria for having made all this possible.
This Blog of mine provides you with an insight of how, over the course of my career, I have tried to BLEND the principles of a HUMANISTIC APPROACH I have learnt at Pilgrims since 1989 thanks to those most inspiring Teacher Trainers and the USE of TECHNOLOGY.
You can browse all posts and find activities on literature, contemporary issues, new methodologies I’m experimenting with such as the Flipped Classroom, but above all you can see my students’ works. I do not want to take up time from Nella’s presentation so I’ve just chosen an example of a student’s video for our PBL on Human Rights that well embodies what we believe in: creativity, respect for differences, social awareness to build emotional intelligence, multiple intelligences, divergent thinking and the importance of sharing.
Nella will tell you the anecdote behind this video. Mistake or brilliant lateral thinking idea?
GOOD BYE DEAR PILGRIMS FRIENDS & beautiful PORTONOVO
WITH LOTS OF LOVE
